Look Out Zone – Volunteers needed!

     PickupZone

Junior School Pickup Zone (Look Out Zone)

The Look Out Zone is a volunteer based program developed by the Transport and Main Roads and Kelvin Grove State School to manage flow of traffic in a safe and orderly manner at the L’Estrange Terrace designated Pickup Zone (2 minute loading zone).

The program facilitates the quick and safe pickup of children during congested peak school let out times.

We need volunteers to assist children to the first 3 bays of the pickup lay-by. Volunteers are needed for 25 minutes (2:55-3:20pm) once every 2 to 3 weeks on their chosen day of week.

There are two volunteers per day with the support of a teacher aide. There is also flexibility in case of sick children, work commitments, etc. For more info contact kgpickup@hotmail.com

Volunteers for Junior tuckshop

WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!

Our Junior Tuckshop is open Monday to Friday. It is a very busy and popular place. Volunteers are required between 8.30am and 12.30pm or 1.30 to 2.30pm.  You don’t have to volunteer to help every week – it is a monthly roster so you only need to volunteer once a month.
Again, it isn’t a weekly commitment – just once a month.  But if you want to volunteer more often you are always welcome!

If you have some free time and can help us at tuckshop, drop in or email: kgscjuniortuckshop@gmail.com or via text to 0478 620 366

Woolworths Kelvin Grove & Active Travel

Kelvin Grove State College Junior School would like to send a big THANK YOU to Woolworths at Kelvin Grove for supplying us with a large box of fresh fruit and watermelon.
This fruit is collected by JPAG and given to the children on Friday morning during Active School Travel.
